well its about time! somebody noticed “smooth jams radio” for all our hard work we finally will be recognized for the month of july/august 2011 to be featured on “streamfinder” an internet radio directory of listings over 13,000 internet radio stations global. so we get a little sunshine for our content and selection of quality music and programing for the world wide web. see our homepage for our feature banner from streamfinder… it’s pretty smooth.

and as well we are improving our programming and song selections throughout the day and night, our newest program is “smooth jams radio presents” and we feature daily new artists and song submissions from indepenant record labels starting at 3pm est. m-f and we pick the songs to be aired. so please pass the word and tell everyone about smooth jams radio.

just as the internet is growing at light speed with new ideas and gadgets for laptops,ipads and clones, smartphones is only the nest frontier to be flooded and over saturated with unwanted and useless apps. and yes i’m warming you up for what smooth jams radio has been up to, but before i let the cat out of the bag some observations on the future of internet radio or at least (wsjr) as more and more people are mobile by choice and chance not behind a pc or mobile pad, the need for internet connection to the web is like walking around with your house and car keys.thus not falling behind like dial-up service smooth jams radio is taking steps to created our own mobile app to tune in on the dime without a dozen steps to find us or just to locate our internet radio station broadcasts, just because we are already on some mobile app providers like itunes radio, nokia radio, streamfinder, IRadio and TuneInRadio our listeners can tune in through their mobile apps and already established internet radio directory giants.we want to offer more to our new listeners and existing listeners by providing our own home grown mobile app, streaming right to your mobile device.  although we are in testing stages for our new app we have shared our link to download on facebook and twitter, we are waiting for feedback, we understand this is not going to be an overnight success but were devoted to continue the same high quality streams of the smoothest jams on the internet.Dj Koolbobemail me at: djkoolbob@smoothjamsradio.com

we are an internet radio station broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week and 365 days a year. We feature r&b, gospel, blues, jazz, old school hip hop, neo-soul and just about all music thats smooth and or jamming. We have grown over the year since we have been in existence broadcasting on the web and hope to open doors for more “indie”artists that would otherwise not get any airplay on conventional radio.
